Welcome to the SurePass basic cutting course.
This course is most suitable for those that have been out of the industry for a while and need a refreshment of hair cutting skills.
You will be taught how to complete:
- Straight club cut (enabling you to cut one length above shoulder & below shoulder)
- Cut short and long layers (enabling you to cut uniform layers & long graduated layer cut)
- Short graduated cut
- Add texture or soften a style.
You will need to continue with home practice to develop your technique on each cut.
We also welcome beginners, those without any prior cutting experience, this course can be a great taster for those considering entering the world of hairdressing. Remember this is a very intensive course, and home theory and practice is essential.
On this 3 day Fully accredited training course we will provide all tools and equipment for you to use on the day. You will be taught to analyse your clients hair, complete a consultation, give advice on hair styles to suit your client and follow through with a full hair cut. Your tutor will demonstrate each hair cut for you to then complete on a training head.
On completion of the course you will be required to build a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate your competence, upon completion you will be issued with a professionally recognised accredited diploma certificate in basic hair cutting. This certificate will enable you to gain insurance with ABT.
