This fun interactive 1 day course is all about being creative and having fun. Your tutor will teach you to find your inner artistic side, the key to every style is some simple techniques, you will learn the underlying skills you need to put together some amazing and glamorous styles for all occasions. Take photos to keep building your portfolio of work.
The course covers occasional and elegant styles. We show you some techniques with putting hair up, plaits, twists, knots, bows, pleat, styling tools products, accessories, placement of pins, we have a selection of styles for you to choose from to create throughout the day. You get to take away our style bible with more styles to practice at home too.
On completion of this course you will receive a certificate in Hai Up – Bridal & Occasional.
You will learn:

- Products/Tools/Equipment (how to use suitable products/pin & accessories placement)
- Styles: French plait, Chignon, traditional pleat, twists, braids including variations of plaits – waterfall/ladder, fish tail plait, bow, pin curls, barrel curls. (back combing)
- Aftercare
A fully accredited course for insurance purposes. Before you attend the course you will be asked to do a little homework on hair do’s, a great opportunity to broaden your knowledge on the current trends and find out the how to’s when it comes to up do’s. This course is designed for those with no experience in working with hair, you will learn how to do the basics: plaits, cornrows, twists, knots, bows and a pleat. How to use heat styler’s – curling tongs, straightening irons, crimpers. Placement of pins and also accessories to give a finished look. On the course you will be able to take away our manual with all the info you have learnt as well as have a copy of our in house ‘up do hair style how to manual’, this will then enable you to further your practice to create some beautiful up do’s.
As with all courses it takes time to become competent, so with plenty of practice you will soon be styling wedding and prom hair !
