If you are looking to offer private makeup artistry to your clients, work as a representative for retail makeup brands, or even perfect your skills for home use, this course will teach you the tricks of the trade and cover all you need to know to master the essentials of makeup, both in theory and in practice.
Covering day, evening, and occasional makeup artistry, this 1 day fully accredited makeup course is made up of various elements. You will understand how to recognise different skin types and analyse skin tones, how to prepare your client’s skin for full face application, and complete a facial cleanse, tone, and moisturise treatment.

With so many different types of brushes and ways to apply, we will show you how to choose the best application method based on the look you want to achieve, with a tips on what brushes are used for which method.
How often have you stood at a makeup counter and wondered where to start? Get to grips with product selection, and how to make it personal to your individual clientele.
You will also learn how to apply strip lashes as well as cluster lashes for the ultimate special occasion and party look.
Students will work on each other, so don’t forget to bring your camera to record your work. We will give you the latest tips of photo taking, lighting & social media sharing We will provide your tools and equipment to use on the day, why not bring along your own makeup bits too & see if they are the right colour or tips on applying !
This course is aimed at beginners, no previous experience is required. You will be provided with an in-depth training manual to help you study further before and after your training. As with all learning we recommend you practice your techniques and continue your subject research/training after.
You will be required to complete some home reading & some home practice in order to complete this course.
