This is 5 day course in VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentation.  During this intensive training you will learn to complete semi permanent makeup on the Eyebrows including Hair Strokes and Powder Brows, Lips & Eye Liner

Prior Experience Required:  You must hold a min Level 3 Beauty related qualification.

You will be required to provide certificate evidence prior to attendance.

Management of health, safety and security in the salon

Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector

Enhance appearance using micropigmentation treatment

* This course also includes VTCT Level 2 Infection Prevention Qualification.

All tools and equipment will be provided for you to use whilst training at SurePass.  You will also be provided with a basic kit to help get you started !

Your kit will include:   Latex practice skins. Face mapping tools- golden ratio callipers, china marker, ruler.  Full printed training material provided

** This does NOT include a machine or pigments, you will need to add more items to your kit – your educator will explain all of this and where to buy from on your training.. **oes NOT include a machine or pigments. **

We are fortunate to have some very good high quality permanent makeup machines here.  Giving you the opportunity to use ours, this means you can then decide for yourself what machine you would like to opt for based on your own budget.  On day 1 your educator will give you plenty of information on machine types, recommendations and where to buy.   To get you started in your searching – take a look at the XION S with critical atom & power supply – our favourite machine to use.  You will need to buy a machine & needles for your own salon use.  Please get in touch for more information !

You will need to provide your own models to work on throughout your training.  You MUST have short nails, long hair must be tied back.  You must be in appropriate salon attire throughout your training – salon top/tunic and flat closed toe shoes.

This is a very intensive training course, you will be required to practice at home during and after your SurePass training sessions, you will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence throughout your training for assessment.  You will be required to complete a minimum of 2 days assessments.  (this may vary depending on VTCT requirements and the students progress.)

COURSE STRUCTURE

Day 1 – Theory: Hygiene, Infection Control, Compliance, Consultations, Aftercare, Face Mapping, Machine / Skin Practice

Day 2 – Theory & skin practice continued

Day 3 – Model 1: BROWS 9.30am / Model 2: BROWS 1.30pm

Day 4 –  Model 3: LIPS 9.30am / Model 4: LIPS 1.30pm

Day 5 – Model 5: EYELINER 9.30am / Model 6: EYELINER 1.30pm

HOME PRACTICE – This is required throughout your training, along with portfolio building.

MIN 2 PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT DAYS

Training material will be emailed to you upon full payment for your course, enabling you to start the course immediately !

Printed workbooks can be provided for a fee of £10 (£20 if posted)

MODELS – you are able to use the same model for different treatment areas.  If you feel you may struggle finding models – get in touch, we will always try to help.

PATCH TESTING – It is very vital that ALL 6 of your models receive a patch test prior to the treatment, on day 1 you will be taught how to carry out your patch testing for your models & be provided with everything you need to patch test each of your models.
