Enter the world of holistic therapy with the Swedish full body massage course. With an overwhelming number of benefits to your client, a body massage creates both physiological and psychological effects. The treatment is well known for: stress relieving, detoxing the body, stimulation and increase in blood circulation.
This is an intense 2 day Fully Accredited training course, the training starts with home study of the Anatomy and Physiology study material, an essential when it comes to understanding how the body works and targeting key areas. We have some suggested study books to aid in your learning. You will be provided with an in depth manual and workbook to complete as part of your studies.
Remember you are not alone in your studies, our advisers are on hand to support you during your course.
If you already hold a min Level 3 industry qualification or equivilant that demonstrates your competency in A&P, please send this to us for review as we may be able to accept this in place of completing it again. For example VTCT A&P Level 3 certificate, Microblading or Medical qualification.
You will participate in 2 days of theory and practical training where students will work on each other. Your tutor will demonstrate each stage of the massage for you to then learn. This includes everything from the understanding of health and safety, products to use, preparing your client to the full massage routine. At the end of your second day of training you will be assessed by completing a full run through of the massage, don’t worry we will help you remember those massages movements !
This course is made up of both theory and practical based training and as we want you to be fully competent as well as confident in your new skill, on completion of the training course you will be required to build a portfolio of practice case study evidence to demonstrate your competence, upon completion you will be issued with a professionally recognised accredited diploma certificate. This certificate will enable you to gain insurance with ABT, enabling you to work professionally. So line those family and friends up and get ready to start !
